MET Office Forecasts Showers for the Next Five Days

The Maldives Meteorological Service has forecasted that some parts of the country are likely to experience rain showers over the next five days.

They have stated that showers will impact various regions over the next five days, coinciding with the Eid celebrations. However, the weather is expected to improve for the better part of the day across all areas.

The forecast predicts wind speeds of 8-18 miles per hour from the west and southwest. Additionally, the seas are expected to be generally rough, with wave heights ranging from three to five feet.

As many families plan to travel to other islands by sea during the Eid week, the civic body advises everyone to exercise caution given the weather conditions.
