Ibrahim Shiuree Appointed Managing Director of MMPRC

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has appointed Ibrahim Shiuree as its new Managing Director.

Shiuree, who previously served as a steering committee member for the World Bank's 'Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth' project, is also the current vice-president of the TT Association. His appointment comes after the dismissal of Fathimath Thaufeeq (Kudi) from the director position on May 22. Additionally, Ayesha Noorain Najah, who was the chairperson of MMPRC, resigned from her post.

In the interim, Mohamed Bassamu Adam, the Deputy Managing Director of MMPRC, was temporarily handed the reins of the company.

This leadership change marks a significant shift for MMPRC as it aims to bolster its marketing and public relations efforts under Shiuree's direction.
