Opposition to Justice Ali Rasheed: Jail Cell Awaits You

Opposition Progressive Congress Coalition has warned Supreme Court Justice Ali Rasheed, stating that he will be in jail in a PPM-led administration.

Justice Ali Rasheed chaired the Criminal Court bench which convicted opposition leader and former President Yameen of money laundering.

Speaking at the rally “Addana” that was held at the Carnival area last night People National Congress Party (PNC) Vice President Ibrahim Shuja said that they will be investigating the bench that had convicted Former President Yameen. Shuja also said that in the year 2023 PPM will be the Ruling Party. Shuja also vowed that the judges who convicted Yameen would be investigated.

Shuja said that the bench that had convicted Yameen would not be chosen to be in the high court in a PPM administration and that each one of them would be in jail, especially Judge Ali Rasheed who chaired the bench.
