Two arrests were made in relation to the abduction and murder of a 13-year-old. The body was found dumped in the ocean.
Police informed the child’s body was found around 02.30 am on Tuesday. Two people were then arrested.
According to police, they were notified of the child being held captive on June 20. During their search, they discovered the body in Hulhumale’ waters.
Those arrested were a 17-year-old male and a 27-year-old male. Police declined to share further details.
