Ministry Launches Logo Design Competition for Products Made by People with Disabilities

The Ministry of Social and Family Development has opened submissions for a logo design competition aimed at creating an official brand for products made by people with disabilities in the Maldives.

The logo will be used to market and promote these products, highlighting the skills and craftsmanship of people with disabilities while creating income opportunities. Designers are encouraged to incorporate Maldivian culture and identity, avoid elements contrary to Islamic principles, and symbolically represent people with disabilities.

The competition is open to Maldivian citizens aged 16 and above. Participants with disabilities must be registered in the National Disability Registry. The winning design will receive a cash prize of 5,000 rufiyaa and a commemorative certificate.

The deadline for submissions is October 15, 2025, at 23:59. Entries will be evaluated by a judging panel appointed by the Ministry of Gender, Family, and Social Services.
