Police have launched an investigation into the death of a 43-year-old Maldivian man who passed away at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) emergency department this morning.
According to a police media official, the man was brought to the hospital around 10:10 AM in serious condition but succumbed shortly after arrival. Authorities have confirmed receipt of the case and are currently examining all relevant aspects.
No further details about the circumstances of the death have been disclosed as the investigation continues.
