A 47-year-old American tourist tragically died while diving at a resort in Adh. Atoll on the afternoon of July 6.
According to police reports, the incident occurred around 12:28 PM in the outer reef area of the resort. The tourist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have confirmed that an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is ongoing. No additional details have been released at this time.
