Chinese Tourist Found Dead Near Gangehi Resort in Alifu Alifu Atoll

On October 13, at approximately 11:22 a.m., Maldives Police Service (MPS) reported the death of a tourist who had been snorkelling near Gangehi Resort in Alifu Alifu Atoll. The individual, a 27-year-old man from China, was staying at a guesthouse in Rasdhoo during his holiday.

The tourist was immediately rushed to a nearby health center, where he was declared dead upon arrival. MPS is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
