High Commission Urges Maldivians in the UK to Register Amid Southport Unrest

The High Commission of Maldives in the UK has called on Maldivians living in the country to register their information with the Commission amid escalating violence in Southport following a tragic stabbing attack.
In light of the recent unrest in Southport, northwest Hartlepool, where three children were killed, the High Commission has requested Maldivians to register on the High Commission portal via email ([email protected]) and to notify the High Commission in case of emergencies.
The High Commissioner’s appeal coincides with advisories from the Foreign Office urging Maldivians residing or traveling in the UK to exercise heightened caution. Residents of Southport and its surrounding areas are specifically advised to remain vigilant.
The High Commission emphasized the importance of staying updated with the latest information and advised all parties to adhere to the instructions provided by local authorities. For those requiring assistance, the High Commission is available to offer support.
