At an event held at The Noovilu Seaplane Terminal of Velana International Airport, 'Visit Maldives' was officially named the destination partner for the Air Service Congress 2024. The congress, which will be held from July 9 to July 11, 2024, in Kurumba Maldives, is expected to attract 300 participants from around the world.
This significant aviation route development event will be the first of its kind to be hosted in the Maldives. It will feature prominent personalities from the global aviation sector, who will share insights and discuss the future of aviation.
As the designated destination partner, 'Visit Maldives' aims to leverage this opportunity to boost tourism and strengthen economic ties between the Maldivian aviation sector and international markets. The collaboration underscores the Maldives' commitment to expanding its tourism footprint and enhancing its connectivity with the global aviation network.
The announcement event was attended by key figures including the CEO and Managing Director of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), along with Deputy Managing Directors, senior management, and various airport partners.
