President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has said that he will not discriminate against any citizen regardless of political opinion.
Speaking at a rally at the Artificial Beach last night to celebrate the Congress coalition’s comprehensive victory in yesterday’s parliamentary elections, the President said all citizens were equal before him and he would not discriminate on the basis of their political affiliation.
In my eyes, as I said the other day, every citizen is equal. Whatever party one belongs to, they remain an important citizen. I have love and respect for each of individual. So I will not discriminate against anyone. There will be no action against anyone because of their political views.
