An Introduction to the World Government Summit Attended by the President

The President is in Dubai at the invitation of the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, who is also the Emir of Dubai, to attend and address the annual World Government Summit in the city. The summit is attended by leaders from several countries and heads of business and innovation.
In addition, the heads of international financial institutions are also attending the summit. International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva is scheduled to attend the summit and deliver a speech.
For the first time since 2013, the President of the Republic of Maldives will participate in this year's summit and deliver a speech.
One of the most important and biggest projects announced by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu is the construction of a completely different city. He has announced the Rasmalé project to provide a permanent solution to the housing crisis in the Malé area.
In his speech at the opening of the groundbreaking ceremony, the President said the city is being built as a modern city, which will be environmentally friendly, and have easy to access services for all residents.
One of the topics discussed at the World Global Summit this year is how to design the cities of the future. Accordingly, expert scholars in various fields related to the task of designing cities, as well as ministers and practitioners who have gained experiences in policy formulation in different countries participate in these discussion meetings.
In addition, the summit will feature many discussions on artificial intelligence, including Sam Altman, CEO of Open AI, the inventor of ChatGPT. Professor Serge Haroche, winner of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics, will also participate in the discussions.
On the 13th, the main session of the summit will be attended by all participants. The summit will also be addressed by the Presidents of the Indian Ocean island nations of Madagascar, Mauritius and Seychelles.
Delegations from 120 countries are participating in the summit. 85 international and regional organizations participate. The summit will be attended by the heads of 27 international and regional organizations.
