Former PG Muhuthaaz Appointed as President’s Criminal Justice Advisor

Former Prosecutor General Muhuthaaz Muhusin has been appointed as a special advisor to the President on strengthening the criminal justice system.

In addition to serving as the Prosecutor General, Muhuthaaz has experience in practicing law within the criminal justice system. Muhuthaaz contested the PNC primary for Dhangethi constituency but did not win the election.

There are currently four advisors to the President, including Muhuthaaz and Senior Minister Abdul Raheem Abdullah. The Trade Advisor Mohamed Ali Janah and Strategic Communications Advisor Mohamed Khaleel have been appointed without receiving the salary.
