Election Commission of Maldives Welcomes Registration of Foreign Observers for Upcoming Parliamentary Elections

The Election Commission has announced the opening of the application process for foreign observers to observe and monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The EC has invited applications from international associations, societies, and foreign parties interested in observing and monitoring the 20th parliamentary elections.
The EC said the application forms will be accepted from January 30th to February 16th.
The parliamentary elections are scheduled for March 17th
Nominations for candidates will be open from February 16th to 23rd.
143 foreign observers and 22 monitoring officials from different countries participated in the last presidential election held in Maldives.
