President Visits Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences

Today, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu was invited to the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) in Beijing.

Officials from CAAS greeted the President upon his arrival and informed him about the school, programs of study and the research being undertaken. The President was then shown a presentation which highlighted the innovations of the school, along with some of the agricultural products that the school produces. Officials from the school expressed their interest in collaboration in the future.

This visit was a part of the President’s state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping,
