The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, took to social media to share her harrowing experience, shedding light on the alleged assault that occurred during her stay at the luxurious resort.
The victim promptly reported the incident to both the Maldives Police and the Chinese Embassy in the Maldives, seeking justice and support. Local authorities received the complaint on June 6th and have since initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.
The victim's complaint indicates that the incident took place at the Ritz-Carlton Fari Island resort, known for its pristine beaches and world-class hospitality. It has been revealed that the alleged perpetrator was a butler assigned to serve the victim during her stay at the resort.
In light of this distressing incident, the victim underwent a medical examination at a health center in Thulusdhoo, where forensic evidence was collected to aid in the investigation. The medical check-up was conducted to verify the claims made by the victim and provide essential evidence in pursuing justice.
