President Solih To Depart For Komandoo Constituency After Presidential Address

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih is scheduled to leave for Komandoo after delivering the presidential address tomorrow. President Solih and Majlis Speaker Mohamed Nasheed; the President of the Maldivian Democratic Party; will be visiting Komandoo to lend support for the MDP's candidate for the constituency.

Sources say that both President Solih and Speaker Nasheed would depart for the constituency at 12:30pm. They are expected to visit Komandoo, Foakaidhoo, and Maroshi during their visit to the constituency.

Several ministers and officials of the MDP will join President Solih on his visit.

The MDP is running against the opposition PPM for the Komandoo constituency's bi-elections, which will be held on 5 February.
