29,000 people have received their protective booster shots against Covid-19.
The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has stated that a total of 29,089 people have received a booster shot; 545 people had received their shots just yesterday.
The HPA stated that 368,622 people had received double doses of Covid vaccination so far; 28,501 people had only received one shot.
The HPA had opened the opportunity for booster shots for people above the age of 18 last night. The first shots would be administered tomorrow.
An appointment for a booster shot may be made through book.hpa.gov.mv.
