Indian High Commissioner meeting with officials of Defence Ministry.
Munu Mahawar, the newly-appointed Indian High Commissioner to the Maldives, has met with Minister of Defence, Mariya Ahmad Didi.
According to the Ministry of Defence, as future projects involving co-operation between the two countries were discussed, the matter of defence co-operation and the stability and security of the Indian Ocean region had also been discussed.
In addition to the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Force Maj Gen Abdullah Shamal and the Vice Chief of Defence Force Brig Gen Abdu-Raheem Abdul-Latheef had also participated in the meeting.
