BREAKING: MACL CEO dismissed

Gordon Andrew Stuart, CEO of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), has been dismissed from his post.

According to an announcement by MACL, as per the decision of the Privatization and Corporatization Board, Gordon has been removed from his position as CEO and MD of Maldives Airport Company Limited.

MACL did not disclose the reason for Gordon's dismissal. Ibrahim Thoha the Deputy Chief Operating Officer is in charge of the company.

The government's decision to dismiss Gordon was abrupt as Gordon himself was not aware of the decision until few hours ago.
