Man Arrested for Attempted RDC Break-in

Company staff late Thursday night caught a man attempting to break into the Road Development Corporation (RDC) Office.

According to RDC, staff on night duty caught the man on the roof of the building. The office was broken into for the third time this year last Sunday.

The man claimed that he climbed up onto the roof to retrieve a pair of jeans and a shirt he had left on the roof during a previous break-in, as he had no other clothes to wear. It is assumed that he was the one who broke into RDC the past Sunday.

Managing Director of RDC Moosa Ali Manik (Mookey) has blamed the multiple break-ins on the opposition.
