Pres. Nasheed Yet to Provide Official Statement: PG

Prosecutor General Hussain Shameem has stated that former President Mohamed Nasheed has yet to provide a statement for the investigation into the May 6 attack.

During today's press conference, PG Shameem claimed he is looking forward to receiving a statement from Nasheed as the authorities have not been given a statement till now.

Previously, at a joint conference with the PG, Police also revealed that the former president has yet to provide a statement.

Regarding the claim, President Nasheed tagged Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed in a tweet stating that his word and testament is his life, heart and soul.
