Remand for an outbound tourist with bullets arrested at Velana International Airport (VIA) has been increased by four days.
The passenger was arrested on July 10 for having bullets in his luggage. Police revealed the suspect to be a 60-year-old Namibian male.
He was issued a three-day remand on July 12. Police stated that the Criminal Court increased his remand as the initial three-day duration has expired.
