TikTok, has verified MP Hussain Mohammed Latheef's TikTok account.
MP Hussain who represents Faresmaathodaa constituency in the parliament is the first member of parliament to be verified by TikTok. Recently the secretariat of the parliament has also launched an official TikTok account. It was soon followed by the Health Protection Agency of Maldives.
Some other parliament members and politicians have also recently started using Tiktok. Among them includes MP Ghassan Maumoon the deputy leader of PPM, and Dr.Muizzu the oppositions' mayoral candidate for Male' City.
TikTok is the most popular social media platform in the Maldives after Facebook and Instagram.
