President Dr Mohamed Muizzu will begin a new series of engagements with the business community tomorrow night, with the first meeting dedicated to small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Chief Spokesperson at the President’s Office Heena Waleed said the SME-focused meeting will be held at 8:30 p.m. at the Social Centre, and Maldivian SMEs have been invited to take part in the discussion.
The meeting forms part of the President’s broader initiative to engage directly with the public and key stakeholder groups, with the aim of gathering feedback, understanding concerns and incorporating public input into policymaking.
The SME session is also part of a wider series of consultations being conducted across the Greater Malé Region. Under this initiative, President Dr Muizzu has already met with residents of Villimalé, Maafannu and Mahchangolhi.
The President is scheduled to meet with residents of Galolhu tonight at Imaduddin School and will continue the engagement programme with a meeting for residents of Hulhumalé Phase II on Thursday night.
The ongoing consultations reflect the Administration’s emphasis on direct dialogue with communities and stakeholder groups to inform governance and development priorities.
