Maldives Post Seeks Building in Maafannu for Postal Services

Maldives Post Limited has announced its intention to lease a building in the Maafannu area of Male to enhance its postal service operations. The initiative comes amid increasing demand and a backlog of shipments, particularly from Temou, China, to the Maldives.
The company has invited interested parties to submit bids for the lease, with a deadline set for 2:00 PM on July 3, 2025. Bids must be submitted to the fifth floor of the Post Building in Male, enclosed in a sealed envelope labeled with the bid name, scheduled opening date and time, and the name of the submitting party. Maldives Post emphasized that bids received after the deadline will not be accepted.
For additional information, interested parties are directed to contact the Procurement Unit before 12:00 PM on July 2, 2025. The announcement follows a similar recent call by Maldives Post for bids to lease a building in Phase 2 of Hulhumale’ to expand postal service facilities.
This move reflects Maldives Post’s efforts to address operational challenges and improve service delivery in response to growing postal demands, ensuring efficient and reliable services for residents and businesses in the capital region.
