Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has announced plans to auction off unclaimed goods left at the Malé Commercial Harbour for extended periods. The public auction is scheduled to take place from 2:00 PM on June 15 to 2:00 PM on June 16.
Among the items to be auctioned are used cars, along with various other goods that have remained uncollected. MPL stated that only individuals registered on its official auction portal will be eligible to participate.
An opportunity to inspect the items before the auction will be held at 4:30 PM tomorrow, June 14. Interested parties must register through MPL’s auction portal before 3:30 PM on the same day to gain access.
The auction is part of MPL’s efforts to clear long-stored items and improve operational efficiency at the harbour.
