The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a travel advisory urging Maldivians traveling to Thailand to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card prior to departure, following a recent update in Thailand’s immigration procedures.
According to the Ministry, Thailand Immigration will enforce this new requirement starting May 10, 2025. All travelers, including Maldivians, are now required to submit the arrival card online before entering the country.
The digital form can be filled out via the official link: https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home
The Ministry clarified that this new measure does not affect any existing visa arrangements between the Maldives and Thailand. Maldivians may continue to enter Thailand with a 90-day Entry Visa as before.
In light of this change, the Foreign Ministry strongly advises Maldivian travelers to complete the arrival card online before departing from the Maldives to avoid any issues during immigration checks in Thailand.
