President Muizzu Begins A Tour To Meet Councils

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu set out on Sunday morning for an official tour of selected islands in Alif Alif (AA) Atoll and Malé Atoll. The visit is part of his ongoing efforts to strengthen community engagement and understand the unique challenges and developmental priorities of the islands.

As part of the trip, the President is scheduled to meet with representatives from Island Councils, Women’s Development Committees, and Atoll Councils. These meetings aim to foster dialogue and ensure that community voices are considered in the planning and execution of government projects.

This tour is one of many planned visits to the islands, reflecting President Muizzu’s commitment to active leadership and grassroots-level consultation. He has pledged to visit all islands in the Maldives at least twice during his term, underscoring his focus on inclusive development and collaboration with local communities.
