The government has outlined plans to extend this operation across all villages in Sri Lanka within the coming year, with the aim of consolidating data on all foreign nationals residing in the country into a centralized database. Additionally, the government is committed to implementing a comprehensive solution to address the issue of foreigners within the next three years.
As of November 17, the government has successfully met its target of deporting 5,000 illegal immigrants, marking a historic milestone in Sri Lanka's immigration enforcement efforts.
