The Sinamale’ Bridge Park was officially inaugurated today in a vibrant ceremony attended by children, H.E. Wang Lixin, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, and Minister Dr. Abdulla Muththalib. The park is now open to the public and commemorates the transformative China-Maldives Friendship Bridge.
During the event, the ambassador emphasized the park's role in strengthening ties between the two nations, stating, “It symbolizes our enduring friendship and shared vision for a prosperous future.” Minister Muththalib echoed these sentiments.
Designed as a recreational space, the park features green areas and playgrounds, promoting healthy lifestyles for families. The inauguration included performances by local children, celebrating the new public space that is set to become a cherished gathering spot for residents and visitors alike.
