Maldives Celebrates Strong Islamic Ties with Saudi Arabia on Kingdom's 94th National Day

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has expressed pride in the longstanding Islamic relations between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia in a message marking Saudi Arabia’s 94th National Day. In a social media post, the President extended greetings to King Salman AbdulAziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, emphasizing the close ties and shared values between the two nations.

"The Maldives is proud of its strong Islamic relations and close friendship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," President Muizzu stated, reaffirming the importance of the relationship. He also expressed optimism that the bond between the two countries would continue to strengthen, contributing to greater prosperity and growth for both nations.

In Male' City, a special event was held to commemorate Saudi Arabia's National Day, attended by high-ranking officials, including Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef. The event celebrated the historical partnership between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia, which has been marked by cooperation in various fields, including religion, trade, and development.
