In a disturbing incident from Rajasthan’s Bundi district, a 28-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping his 52-year-old mother while under the influence of alcohol, according to local police reports. The incident took place on Friday when the accused and his mother were returning home from her brother’s house in a village in the Dabi area.
Police stated that the crime occurred in an isolated location as the mother and son were walking back to their residence. Following the assault, the victim, along with her younger son and daughter, approached the Dabi Police Station to lodge a complaint against the accused.
Law enforcement officials swiftly acted, apprehending the accused, who reportedly confessed to the crime during initial interrogation. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tarunkant Somani confirmed that the accused has been arrested and further investigations are underway.
"The accused was produced before the court, which has sent him to judicial custody," DSP Somani stated. The authorities are now conducting a deeper investigation into the case to gather all necessary evidence.
The case has shocked the local community and raised concerns over issues of domestic violence and alcohol abuse.
