Foreign Minister Embarks on Official Visit to the United States

Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer has left for the United States on an official visit, the Foreign Ministry announced today. The minister's visit, which began early this morning, will conclude on Thursday, the 27th of this month.
During his stay in the United States, Minister Zameer is scheduled to meet with high-ranking officials from the US government and the United Nations. The visit will start in Washington, DC, where he will engage in discussions with Samantha Power, the Administrator of the US Agency for International Development, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
Minister Zameer will also attend a meeting of the Council of Foreign Relations. Additionally, he is scheduled to meet with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs and the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
The minister's itinerary includes meetings with Maldivian communities residing in Washington, DC, New York, and New Jersey.
