Police have confirmed the rescue of three Somali nationals who were stranded at sea. On Saturday, a dinghy carrying the group was brought to an uninhabited farming island in Noonu Atoll. The police reported that the individuals were found in distress and were subsequently taken to Hulhudhoo.
With the assistance of the island council, the rescued Somalis have been provided with temporary shelter. Authorities are ensuring their well-being as they continue to monitor the situation.
