On Tuesday morning, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu appointed new members to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC). The ceremony to present the letters of appointment was held at the President’s Office.
At the ceremony, President Muizzu appointed the Speaker of Parliament, Abdul Raheem Abdulla, as a member of the JSC, and Hussain Riza Adam, Member of Parliament for the Maafushi constituency, to represent the Parliament on the JSC.
Honorable Supreme Court Justice Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim administered the oath of office to the newly appointed members. Following the oath-taking ceremony, President Muizzu presented the official letters of appointment.
