President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has shown the most love for his people and the nation, Local Government Minister Adam Shareef Umar has said, adding that the country's economy is growing rapidly under his guidance.
The President is currently on a visit to the northern islands. Speaking at a meeting in Dhihdhoo, Minister Shareef said that President Dr. Muizzu meets with the councilors of each island he visits, and brings other councilors in the atolls to meet them and discuss the situation in those islands.
He said the President would fulfill his promises to the islands with great determination.

Minister Shareef said that President Dr. Muizzu has shown the people his ability to keep the promises he has made to the people. Shareef added that the economic situation in Maldives has reached this point and the country is definitely suffering as a result of the previous government’s mismanagement. However, the government will work to revive the economy, he said.
