Economic Development and Trade Minister Mohamed Saeed has stated that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has proved that he is the President of the people within the first three months of his term.
Minister Saeed tweeted that President Dr. Muizzu is holding himself accountable to the people.
Minister Saeed said this following the second ‘Aha’ Forum, where the President openly addressed the concerns of citizens. The President’s Office has also launched a special portal, the Voice of the People, where every citizen can submit ideas and complaints at any time.
Unlike other governments, President Dr. Muizzu is doing a lot of work to rule by listening to the people.
He is traveling to islands and cities to work closely with the people. He answers people's questions on the spot through the ‘Aha’ forum. In addition, the President’s Office launched a program called “President’s Answers,” which is a video series in which the President will answer one question from a random citizen.
Therefore, the introduction of the "Voice of the People" will be an additional step to his policy of listening to the voice of the people and working as closely as possible with the people.
