Government Aims to Create Housing Stock to Match Housing Need

This government aims to create a housing stock that is in line with the housing need, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu said.

President Dr. Muizzu made this statement while speaking at the second forum of the 'Ahaa' series at Sultan Park last night.

The government will soon launch various housing projects in the city as well as in different parts of the country, he said. Various soft loans will also be provided, he said.

The President also said that the process of handing over the land or flats to those who were determined to receive flats and land by the previous government is now underway. The President also assured the forum that the housing problem would be solved by the end of his five-year term.
