The annual World Government Summit is being held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
President Dr. Muizzu will address this year's World Government Summit at the invitation of the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Emir of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This is the first time a Maldivian President has been invited to address the summit.
This year's World Government Summit will be held from the 12th to the 14th of February. The theme of this year's summit is “Shaping the Governments of the Future.”
This year's summit will feature discussions on artificial intelligence, how to shape the cities of the future and various fields of technology. The meetings are attended by experts in the fields.
In addition to the summit, the visit will also include an investment forum to share information with investors on investment opportunities in the country. More than 300 businessmen will participate in the forum.
The forum will be held on the 13th of this month at the Burj Al Arab, one of Dubai's most famous buildings.
