Chinese Engine Manufacturer Introduces Product to Maldives

China's famous machinery and heavy vehicle manufacturer, WeiChai Group, has decided to introduce products to Maldives in collaboration with Maldives’ Leo Company.
The announcement was made at a ceremony held at Central Park in Hulhumalé yesterday to mark the launch of the company's joint venture with Maldives’ Leo Group.
The ceremony was attended by Chinese Ambassador, Wang Lixin and Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed, while Principal Advisor to the President on Trade and Investment Mohamed Ali Janah was the guest of honour.
Leo Trading CEO Abdullah Sawad signed the agreement on behalf of Leo and China's WeiChai Group to expand its business in Maldives.
Speaking at the ceremony, Principal Advisor on Trade and Investment Mohamed Ali Janah said that Maldivians know how to take advantage of opportunities to do business in different countries of the world.
Speaking at the ceremony, Leo CEO Sawad said the engines produced by WeiChai are suitable for Maldives’ to help with fuel cost reduction.
It is a great product and will reduce fuel costs by 30 percent, he said.
