Flat agreements for those who received flats under a scheme by the previous administration will be able to be signed 3 days after the completion of ACC case.
The Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation will start signing agreements with the flat recipients within three days of the completion of the investigation of the list of flat recipients in Hulhumalé, which is currently being looked into by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation said in a short video that the agreements have been printed and will be signed within three days after the ACC investigates the case.
Out of more than 20,000 applications submitted for 4,000 flats under the previous government's flat ownership scheme, 13,000 people have been deemed eligible. The ACC has said it is difficult to say when the case will be completed.
The Anti-Corruption Commission had earlier said that some people had entered the auto-point system and exchanged points.
They have further stated they were working to resolve the case as soon as possible as it is a sensitive issue. However, it is difficult to say when the case will be completed as the investigation is ongoing.
