President Dr. Muizzu meets US Navy Admiral.
Admiral John Aquilino, Commander of the US Indo-Pacific Command, paid a courtesy call on President Dr. Mohammed Muizzu today.
During the meeting, Admiral Aquilino congratulated the President on his assumption of office. He also highlighted the long-standing relationship between Maldives and the United States.
During the meeting, the President thanked the United States for its assistance in providing training opportunities and capacity building to the Maldivian army.
The Commander assured that he would give his full cooperation to enhance the capacity of the Defense Forces and to maintain security in Maldives.
