President Muizzu Officially Welcomed by Chinese President Xi Jinping

Chinese President Xi Jinping has officially welcomed President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and his wife, First Lady Saajidha Mohamed.

President Muizzu and his wife arrived in Beijing yesterday as part of their state visit to China at the invitation of President Xi Jinping.

The Chinese government recently held a special ceremony to officially welcome the President and his wife.

They were welcomed in red and a guard of honor was held to welcome the President and his wife.

After the welcoming ceremony, official talks between the two countries have recently begun. The meeting will be attended by the Presidents of the two countries, a senior delegation of the Maldivian Government and senior officials of the Chinese Government.

The President's Office said earlier that the meeting will be a stage for official talks between Maldives and China and exchange important agreements to strengthen relations between the two countries in various fields.
