Indian Ambassador to Maldives requested to appear before Foreign Ministry

Indian Ambassador to Maldives, Munu Mahawar, has been asked to appear before the Maldivian Foreign Ministry amid tensions between the two countries over the defamation of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi by some government deputies on social media.

The Indian Ambassador to Maldives, Munu Mahawar, has been asked to appear before the Foreign Ministry at 12 pm today.

The Maldivian Ambassador to India has already appeared before the Indian External Affairs Ministry today.
