British youth embraces Islam in Maldives

A british youth has embraced Islam while in the Maldives.

Ministry of Islamic Affairs issued Robert Caleb Strange, a 25-year-old man from Nothern Ireland, a certificate of acceptance and adoption of Islam in the Maldives on December 5th, when he officially converted.

Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir Ali met with the new brother of Islam to congratulate him on his conversion.

According to the certificate, Strange accepted Islam and recited the Shahadah in the presence of two witnesses.

Strange had chosen to change his name to Umar following his conversion.
