The Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) stated that their leader and former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Qayyoom’s trip to Haa Alif Atoll was a huge success.
Speaking at a news conference held by the opposition, PPM spokesperson Heena Waleed said that President Yameen’s latest trip to Haa Alif atoll was a resounding success and that they were able to identify many important things about the atoll.
Heena thanked the residents of the six islands the party leader and 2023 PPM presidential candidate visited, in addition to the supporters who showed up, for their unwavering support, strong welcome and hospitality on behalf of President Yameen and party.
Heena stated that PPM was able to collect relevant information for the PPM manifesto for the next election. President Yameen’s next trip is to Noonu Atoll.

Miladhoo
Magoodhoo
Heena stated that President Yameen will visit Addu City after Noonu Atoll trip and it was scheduled for November 3. However, Heena said that these dates are subject to change.
Heena mentioned that President Yameen is also scheduled to visit Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll and Gnaviyani Fuvahmulah in November.
