HDC Appoints Ahmed Athif as Managing Director

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) appoints Ahmed Athif, former Deputy Managing Director at the company as Managing Director.

Upon his appointment today, HDC revealed that the company hopes to achieve great accomplishments under his leadership.

Athif was promoted to the position of managing director following the resignation of his predecessor, Suhail Ahmed, last month. Suhail was appointed to the post on 30th December 2018, after President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih came into office. The reason for his resignation remains unknown.

Suhail had briefly filled the position of Managing Director from 2012 to 2015 before resigning due to health issues.

Suhail had been employed at the corporation since it was formed.
