A campaign for promoting the Maldives in France has been launched.
The campaign for promoting the Maldives was launched on Monday at the ILTM Cannes, a global luxury trade show that is being held until the end of Thursday.
In addition to networking opportunities for those in the tourism industry, the trade show provides opportunities for expanding businesses as well. The trade show also features tourism products.
While participants belonging to 95 countries had joined the trade show, 14 companies from the Maldivian tourism industry had also participated.
The Maldives is a popular destination for French tourists. As of December 4, 23,604 tourists had arrived in the Maldives from France.
