UNGA President Shahid Arrives in the Maldives

Abdullah Shahid has arrived in the Maldives in his capacity as the President of the United Nations General Assembly. Shahid, who is also the Minister of Foreign Affairs, had accepted an official invitation given by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to make an official visit to the Maldives.

President Solih had come to welcome him, and a red carpet had been rolled out for him.

Although Shahid is currently serving as a member of President Solih's cabinet, in his capacity as Foreign Minister, he proceeded to sign the guestbook at the President's Office.
